Dwayne Bravo To Miss First Few Games Of IPL 2017 – IPL 2017 is approaching and day by day we are getting news of injured players like JP Duminy, Quinton de Kock, Mitchell Marsh have already withdrawn their names from the upcoming season. Now we have one more player who is ace allrounder Gujarat Lions, Dwayne Bravo. Dwayne Bravo is currently suffering from a hamstring injury and is expected to miss first few games for Gujarat Lions.

Even though Dwayne Bravo will play in IPL, playing first few games without one of the world’s best all-rounder will be a tough job for GL. Dwayne Bravo has been a key part of IPL from the inaugural season. Previously played for Chennai Super Kings, Bravo was draft picked by Gujarat Lions. Even though Bravo did not produce extraordinary with the bat, his 17 wickets from 15 matches was a key contribution to the Gujarat Lions side.

The Gujarat Lions franchise owner, Keshav Bansal while talking to cricbuzz said
“Dwayne Bravo was suffering from hamstring injury from past few months. We are expecting him to join us in India in 1st week of April. He may miss the initial couple of matches”
Dwayne Bravo has been out of the competitive game of cricket from last four months. He last played on December 29th, 2016 when he injured his hamstring while playing Big Bash League in Australia. While playing for Melbourne Renegades, Bravo injured his hamstring. He was stretchered off the field. Bravo underwent surgery on his left hamstring after initial medical tests.
